When it comes to property it’s all about location, location, location
A survey by Home Sale Network of its over 750 strong membership revealed that when buyers are looking for a potential property it’s location at the top of their wish lists.
Over 81 per cent of Network members said that location was what potential buyers ranked most highly, while 19 per cent said that a garage or parking was the top consideration. The potential to add value to the property, eco or green features, a good state of repair or standard of decoration were not, in the majority of cases, the deciding factor.

How close to your workplace do you need to be?

Do you need to be close to particular schools?

Will you need to use public transport and is this available in the location you’re considering?

Do you want to live somewhere with relatively modern, or new build properties and lots of young families?

Or would you prefer to be in a more established location with a mixed population?

Are there friends and family you want to be close to?

Which locations can you afford, can you afford to live in the town or city centre or are there other areas that better suit your budget?”
